Hey folks, this is probably the end of the road for Inhuman Relations (I say "probably" because I'm chronically indecisive, and always leave myself an out, just in case). After doing this comic for eight years, I'd like to move on to other fun comic type things. Preferably things without cartoon animals.
Anyway, thanks for reading the strip and commenting and stuff for so many years. You're all good people. Well, I mean, obviously some of you may be vile degenerates, but if you like my comics, you're OK by me.

Your artstyle is a lot of fun to look at!

Well, Pogo originally had animals in "animal roles", such as Albert wanting to eat Pogo. In your case.. you can use humans just as easily.

Oh, Dennis, say it ain't so!
I've so enjoyed your comics over the years, having first been drawn in by the similarity in artwork to Pogo, which I loved reading old collections of as a kid. I'd bought a couple copies of your Inhuman Relations collection back in 2015, one to give to my older brother, who very much enjoyed it, and one to keep on my bookshelf of cherished comics. You have great talent, in creating memorable and nuanced characters, and bringing them to life with your charming and completely unpredictable storylines, oh-so-perfect visual framing and skilled inking. I drew comic strips and editorial cartoons for about eight or nine years in the 1990s for the University of Arizona student newspaper (the Arizona Daily Wildcat), so I know of what I speak. I miss my old cartoon characters very much and often find myself thinking about where the future plotlines I could have developed would have taken them. If you do move on to other "fun comic type things" please keep us posted here so we can continue to follow you. In the meantime, I'll keep peeking in from time to time to check for updates. Best of wishes to you in your future endeavors.

Hey, thanks for the kind words. I remember you as the Pogo fan who bought a copy of the book for his brother. I'm glad to hear he enjoyed it. When I start doing other comic stuff, I'll be sure to mention it here, in the event anyone else might be interested.

Damn, first Erfworld, then the long-suffering Daily Grind Iron Man Challenge, now Inhuman Relations? 2020 has been a terrible year for my webcomics reading list. Nice touch going on on a mangled Marx quote, though.
As the owner of what is probably Scandinavia's only copy of the complete Mullein Fields, I join Thomas in saying I'll be keeping an eye out for your future endeavors, in which I certainly wish you the best of luck.

The best Marx quotes are mangled Marx quotes, I guess.
I salute you for your ownership of Scandinavia's only Mullein Fields book. Take care of it, because it's out of print now, and might be worth something someday (you might be able to trade it for some flatbrød or something).

I'm going to miss
a lot, but I've seen too many comics where the author/artist kept going after the joy was gone--and it showed in the comic.
I've made it pretty obvious what I think of your work (excellent), and I want to add my name to those who want to be informed of any new developments. I wish you the best of luck for the future, and may you find a project that makes you happy. :)
....Although I wouldn't say "No" to the occasional new

I appreciate your longstanding support, Delta-v (after all these years, I've come to assume that that's your real legal name, and now I refuse to believe otherwise).

Dennis, thank you for a great ride. I've thoroughly enjoyed 'IR' and wish you all the best. Do you by any chance have any copies of the IR/Mullein Fields books lying around that you could sell to me?

Hey Wes, thanks a lot. Unfortunately, I don't think I have any other copies lying around.

Based on past experience, I'll take any cartoon you do. At least it didn't go the pretentious route that Thomas Dye's later work has done.

Will you provide a link for any new projects?
